HOST JOB DESCRIPTION
Shifts start as early as 6:30 with varying start times. Because we finish seating guests by 2 pm, all shifts end no later than 3 pm. Scheduling is generally flexible. Egg Harbor is closed Christmas Day and Thanksgiving, and open late (8am) on New Year’s Day. We do not honor request offs for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.
Strong Customer Service Skills
You are the first and last impression when our guests come in and we believe that good customer service is a must! You will receive hands-on training that will help you understand our culture or positivity and high-energy. We pride ourselves on being efficient with our guests while fostering a genuine relationship with them.
Basic Job Skills

Hosts are expected to be: comfortable using a POS system, able to count back change, able to read and write, able to clearly communicate verbally, comfortable talking with others, friendly with an outgoing personality, passionate about food and customer satisfaction, able to work quickly and efficiently, able to work many hours on their feet, committed to company standards and policies.
