Guest Book for Lombard Yorktown

My husband and I were in the Oakbrook area and stopped in at the Egg Harbor Cafe in Yorktown today. It was great! LOVE Intelligentsia coffee, it is simply the best. Our server Julius was so friendly and kind. The service was outstanding--we really liked how any server brings the food out so that it's sure to be hot when it arrives. We are from Indiana, but we will be back! Great job.

We ate at an Egg Harbor Cafe today for the first time and it was WONDERFUL. Please build some in Indiana.

I'm from Milwaukee and visit my sister in Lombard as often as possible. EVERY single time I request breakfast at Egg Harbor Cafe! The food is deliciously fresh and the staff is so attentive and welcoming. I bought one of the belly mugs this time so I think of Egg Harbor every morning when having my coffee. Until my next visit.... :)

WE WERE ALL SHOPPING IN YORKTOWN ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON SO WE DECIDED ON EGG HARBOR AND IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME YOU WERE VERY BUSY BUT NOT SO MUCH THAT WE FELT WE WERE VERY WELCOME OUR WAIT TIME WAS ABOUT 15 MINUTES WITCH WE ALL THOUGHT WAS RESPONSIBLE WE WERE SAT AND GREETED BY OUR VERY FRIENDLY SERVER SHE EXPLAINED THERE SPECIAL OF THE DAY. OUR FOOD WAS FANTASTIC AND SERVED IN A ABOUT 8 MINUTES WONDERFUL FOOD PERFECT SERVICE LOVELY MEAL ,NEVER HAD TO ASK FOR A REFILL SHE WAS RIGHT ON TOP OF THINGS FOR IT BEING SO BUSY ,SHE EVEN GAVE US SOME SHOPPING INFO FOR WHICH WE ASKED FOR. THAT WAS A EXTRA SPECIAL TOUCH FOR HER TO DO . WOULD DEFENITLY REVISIT AGAIN HOPING TO SEE YOUR BUBBLY SERVER AND COURSE THE GREAT FOOD .

So here is the skinny… I was in a wedding this past weekend and I wanted to stop and have a good breakfast before I had to get ready. So in between writing a best man speech and figuring out driving arrangements I realized that we were not too far from an Egg Harbor location, but we (my girlfriend and I) only had about an hour until we had to start getting ready. We realized that a nice sit down breakfast might take longer, but we hoped that our server might be able to pull off some magic and make the food appear faster. Sure enough, we explained our situation to our very polite server Alicia and she pulled it off. It might have taken a total of 15 minutes (if not sooner) for our food to arrive… the only thing I regretted was not being able to sit and enjoy the food longer (Cinnamon Roll French Toast Combo, yum!). Thank you to the kitchen staff and Alicia for making a great day even greater.
